Mater Private Air Handling Unit Upgrade named as finalist in 2019 AIRAH Best HVAC Retrofit or Upgrade Award
DMA Engineers and VAE Group have been named as a finalist in the 2019 AIRAH Award for Best HVAC Retrofit or Upgrade.
The award recognises excellence in the retrofit or upgrade of a HVAC system – from planning through to engineering, documentation, teamwork, installation quality, workmanship, working in operational facilities, commissioning, and fit-for-purpose outcomes.
The Mater Private Hospital Air Handling Unit (AHU) replacement project entailed the successful replacement of 22 existing AHUs with 25 new AHUs with a constrained budget and limited egress access in a live hospital environment.
