My professional background

I have a strong client focus and appreciate the importance of understanding client objectives at every level of the project. My experience spans the retail, commercial, child care and health care sectors, which has given me a strong understanding of the priorities and challenges of each industry.

As both an engineer and modeller, I’m involved in the entire life-cycle of a project. The modelling tools help me optimise the engineering system as well as provide detailed coordination with other services. I take pride in my work and am motivated to deliver inner beauty to all projects I’m involved in.

My key project experience

• Lutwyche Shopping Centre Redevelopment: Assisting DMA’s project lead, I was heavily involved in the design and documentation of the refurbishment at Lutwyche Shopping Centre. This involved thorough on-site assessment and investigations of the existing services, conceptual design, D&C design package, detailed design documentation as well as extensive compliance and operational advice. This site presented many challenges due to a lack of existing information.
• Oxley Child Care Centre: As lead mechanical engineer, I worked closely with the client to deliver a tailored mechanical design and fully coordinated 3D model. I also completed a BCA Section J analysis and report for the site.
• Mater Hospital Cafeteria Refurbishments: As the lead mechanical design consultant for the Mater Group and the cafeteria fit-out designer, I provided the mechanical design and documentation for both the base-building upgrades and tenancy fit-out. This involved extensive coordination between the two clients. The project involved integration with existing services as well many challenging limitations due to constraints of the existing building.

I also have extensive experience working across multiple McDonald’s restaurants and ALDI stores, including both new stores and refurbishments.
