Ron is responsible for leading the delivery of multi-disciplinary and mechanical design services across various commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial projects. He has more than 30 years Australian and International experience in management, design, documentation and construction administration within a variety of collaborative project delivery methodologies.

Ron has a passion for the design, development and implementation of sustainable building projects that incorporate energy efficient measures and holistic design principles.

My career highlights:

  • Yass Civic Precinct, NSW (2023 | $40M): Project Lead/Manager for the development of a new 6,000m2 multi-building council office precinct including administration, library, commercial buildings and renovation of the heritage ‘Crago Mill’.
  • Department of General Services (DGS) P Street Natural Resources Headquarters Building, Sacramento CA, USA (2021 | $600M): Project Manager for a new 22-storey, 850,000sf (80,000m2) office building designed for Zero Net Energy (ZNE). In addition to office space, the building features food services and cafes, a fitness centre, retail outlets, an auditorium, and underground parking. Design features included radiant chilled ceilings and district plan connections.
  • Seqirus CSL Banksia, Tullamarine, VIC (2021 | $800M): Lead Mechanical Engineer for new purpose-built office, laboratory, and manufacturing facility. Pursuing Green Star 5 Star rating (still in construction until 2026)
  • Arch | Nexus, Sacramento CA, USA (2017 | $5M): Project Leader for 8,200 sf (700m2) adaptive reuse of office space. Features include rainwater harvesting and treatment, solar renewable power generation, operable windows for natural ventilation, waterless urinals and composting toilets, daylight harvesting via exterior windows and skylights, no harmful (‘red list’) chemicals. ILFI Living Building Certification (LBC), NZE, NZW and LEED V4 Double Platinum.
