BRISBANE EVENT.
What do seniors in Australia truly want from their living environments? This is a question that those of us who work in the built environment and construction sector constantly ask, and a question which a QUT led research project is seeking to answer.
Senior Living Innovation is a major research collaboration between QUT and three leading industry partners that aims to reconceptualise the experience of ageing in Australia, and create great communities and living environments for future seniors.
DMA are hosting the next ThomsonAdsett FOTI (Friends of the Industry) breakfast event to hear from QUT research lead, Professor Laurie Buys, as she shares recent national research that uncovered insights from people over 60, including perspectives on what is important, their lifestyles, activities and current and future accommodation. She will also highlight challenges facing the senior living industry in meeting the needs of future seniors.
This event is free and open to attend by anyone in the retirement living, aged care, built environment and construction sectors.
Event time: 7:15am arrival for 7.30am start
Dress: Business Attire
A light breakfast will be provided.
