DMA returns to Townsville University Hospital
DMA returns to Townsville University Hospital

After working on the design and delivery of the Townsville University Hospital Redevelopment from 2009 – 2017, we’re excited to be back on site as part of the Cox Architecture team delivering two projects:

  • New hybrid operating theatres and associated support clinical spaces. The hybrid theatres bring medical imaging (CT and DSA) into the operating theatres, meaning patients don’t need to be moved while under anesthesia to have imaging undertaken.
  • Refurbishment of existing hospital areas to provide additional services in the outpatient clinic, and additional accommodation for North Queensland Persistent Pain Medication Services (NQPPMS).

Our team are undertaking mechanical, electrical, fire protection and hydraulic design services for both projects. For more information about this project and our work, please contact allen.potgieter@dmengineers.com.au
