The Department of Health in collaboration with the Hospital and Health Services and the Department of Housing and Public Works is hosting an industry forum covering topics related to the Health infrastructure and capital works program. The event is aimed at head building contractors and consultants located in the southern region of Queensland.
The topics for the event include:
Ethical Supplier Threshold and Mandate
Best Practice Principles
Building Industry Fairness Act
Project pipeline for Health capital building projects
Tendering opportunities in the region
Q&A session
Representatives from the Department of Health, the Hospital and Health Services and the Department of Housing and Public Works will give presentations on the above topics.
For those who are unable to attend, the event will be livestreamed and recorded. The recording of the event will be made available after the event. Information in relation to where to access the livestream will be provided at a later stage. Questions can be asked either in person at the Forum or online via the livestreaming site.
The Forum is being held on Monday 11 November 2019 in the auditorium of 111 George Street Brisbane, Queensland, 4000. The event will run from 1pm to 5pm and afternoon tea will be provided.
