Following on from the success of Australian Healthcare Week and Victorian Healthcare Week, Queensland Healthcare Week is the one-stop shop event for healthcare professionals in Queensland and across Australia, bringing together clinical, corporate, technology and infrastructure professionals to discuss the shared challenge of increasing patient care in a resource constrained environment.

By 2026 there will be an extra 0.9 million people in Queensland, with 34% of the population being 65 and over.

In response, Queensland is allocating $916.1 Million for health infrastructure over four years to compliment the 20-year $1.26 Billion health ICT strategy, as part of the $16.55 Billion announced in the 2017/18 Budget.
