DMA Engineers commence building services design work for Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1

Caboolture Hospital is getting an upgrade and we’re excited to be part of the team delivering it!

Caboolture is a rapidly growing area of South East Queensland, with a population largely reliant on public health services. The Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1 project will improve access to services, and improve the hospital environment for patients, families and staff.

The project includes the delivery of a new Clinical Services Building and refurbishments to existing buildings. To minimise the impact of construction on staff, patients and the public, maintaining the delivery of fully functioning adjoining services during the development and construction of the project is of critical importance.

We’re underway with the Design Optimisation stage of the project, working closely with Queensland Health’s Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Jacobs. Our team, led by Shawn Sellick, will be delivering several design services for the project including:

  • mechanical
  • medical gas
  • pneumatic tube systems
  • vertical transportation

Our goal? To help Queensland Health deliver a state-of-the-art hospital for the residents of Caboolture, and provide cost-effective and functional solutions that minimise recurrent costs.

We look forward to sharing our progress on the project with you in the coming months.
