DMA Engineers to help kids keep cool at 28 Queensland schools

We’ll be helping Queensland kids keep cool after they get back to school! ❄️

As part of the Queensland Government’s Cooler Cleaner Schools Program (CSSP), our Electrical team will soon start work on electrical assessments for 28 schools across Queensland, ensuring their electrical infrastructure is capable of handling their new air conditioning systems.

We’ll be working on schools from Applethorpe State School to Ma Ma Creek State School, Pittsworth State High School, Wyreema State School and many more in between!

We’re calling it to our ‘A to W of Cool Schools’.

The Cooler Cleaner Schools Program was announced in February 2020 and will provide funding of more than $447 million over 4 years to air condition state schools, and expand the existing Advancing Clean Energy Schools (ACES) program.

More than 650 state schools in total are expected to benefit from the program over the next four years, making around 10,000 classrooms cooler and more comfortable for students, teachers and school communities.

We’re looking forward to working with QBuild, part of the Department of Housing and Public Works (Queensland), and Queensland Department of Education to deliver the program.
