DMA played a key role in helping create a premier sport and training facility by designing innovative and ground-breaking solutions to accommodate the complex building requirements. This included:
- Introducing heating and humidity control for the indoor wickets using humidifiers and air conditioning, to allow the centre to replicate playing conditions from around the world.
- Meeting the desired lighting, power and humidity requirements across the facility such as ensuring lecture halls had basic power and lighting to AS2293 while the gymnasium had lighting that met AS2560 as well as ample power outlets available for the various machines within the room.
- Installing humidity control in hydrotherapy areas to enhance recovery periods.
We liaised with Energex in relation to the unique demands of the onsite transformer. Cricket Australia also wanted to retrofit a solar power system, so we ensured they would have the flexibility to incorporate solar power in the future.
