Each tenancy in the shopping centre had their own 63A 3phase distribution board. Ducted air conditioning was connected to this distribution board. DMA’s design provided each tenancy with 10 pair copper points that could be used for telephones, general data and EFTPOS. Throughout the centre there were Wi-Fi access points and PA speakers for background music and announcements. DMA provided common areas with lighting and power and also gave specific provisions to power ATM’s and noticeboards throughout the centre.
The common areas of the centre were provided with air conditioning and had CCTV. These were strategically targeted throughout the centre and carparks. There was also an elevator and a goods lift for transport of customers and goods. Emergency lighting and exit signage were incorporated throughout the tenancies and common areas.
To make the centre energy efficient, we maximised the natural lighting through sunroofs, used timers to turn lights on and off and installed motion sensors in the storerooms and bathrooms.
